Welcome to Guentzel Family Farms Partnership

Guentzel Family Farms Partnership is a 6th generation family farm in southern Minnesota.

This row crop farming operation, headquartered near Mankato, MN, focuses primarily on corn and soybean production. Jon Guentzel Family Farm’s was started in 2004 after Jon graduated from Mankato East High School. He continued his education to receive an Associates degree with a focus on finance and aviation from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Throughout this time Jon continued to farm full-time to grow his operation and provide labor, management, and custom application for his father’s operation.

Terry Guentzel has more than 35 years of experience farming in the area. He has been farming full-time since 1976. Terry’s wife Mary has also been very involved in the farming operation since 1980 in addition to Nursing part-time. Terry and Mary have four children starting with the twins, Theresa and Jessica. The third born is Jon and the youngest is Angela. All the children have been very involved in the operation while growing up. Jon is continuing to farm as a career. Angela Guentzel is also involved in the farm operation and runs Mankato Valley Seed.

The two operations are now together as Guentzel Family Farms Partnership.
